Position Summary:
The Incident Response Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating the response to cybersecurity incidents that threaten the confidentiality, integrity, or availability of company data and systems. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders, including IT, legal, and corporate communications, to ensure effective incident management and resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
- Incident Management: Lead the investigation, containment, recovery, and remediation of cybersecurity incidents. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a timely and effective response.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact during incidents, ensuring clear and consistent communication with all relevant parties, including senior leadership, legal, and corporate communications.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of incidents, including timelines, actions taken, and lessons learned. Ensure all incident documentation is complete and accurate.
- Training and Awareness: Conduct periodic incident response scenario exercises to raise awareness of current threats and risks. Provide training to incident response personnel on their roles and responsibilities.
- Continuous Improvement: Review and update the Incident Response Plan (IRP) regularly to keep it current with business needs and technology changes. Identify and implement improvements based on post-incident reviews and lessons learned.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Corporate Incident Response Team (CIRT) and other stakeholders to ensure a coordinated response to incidents. Engage with law enforcement and external providers as necessary.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in incident response or a related field.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and incident response processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple incidents simultaneously.
- Experience with incident response tools and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC.
- Experience working in a corporate environment.
Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to incident response.
