We are currently recruiting for a

Technical Application Scientist (m/f/d) – Laboratory EquipmentA day in the Life:

  • Provide technical support for Thermo Fisher Scientific Laboratory Equipment via phone, email, chat, and web
  • Resolve complex technical questions by leveraging internal experts and resources
  • Document customer interactions in CRM systems to support quality and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to knowledge bases, training materials, and internal technical resources
  • Stay current through ongoing product training and continuing education
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects and team initiatives
  • Occasional travel may be required

Keys to Success:

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences, or Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of hands-on laboratory experience in electrochemistry
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Prior customer-facing experience is a strong advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly absorb, understand, and apply complex technical information
  • Natural problem-solver with strong curiosity, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with digital tools, including CRM systems, databases, and standard office applications
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment, particularly electrochemical instrumentation such as pH meters, conductivity meters, and related analytical devices
