Join our colleagues in bringing our Mission to life every single day to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. We provide our global teams with the resources needed to achieve individual career goals while helping to take science a step beyond by developing solutions for some of the world’s toughest challenges, like protecting the environment, making sure our food is safe or helping find cures for cancer.

DESCRIPTION:

The Program Manager, Process Digitalization independently leads the program management and execution of multiple procurement strategic initiatives across a global network of divisions, groups, functions and categories.

Through close partnership with Category Management, IT, Legal, Finance, Sustainability, and external technology providers, this leader leverages digital and AI tools to ensure that procurement processes are intuitive, compliant, scalable, and data-driven, while enabling accelerated savings, reducing tail spend, and delivering superior stakeholder experiences.

Own the global procurement digital orchestration vision and roadmap, defining how stakeholders engage with Procurement across intake, sourcing, supplier onboarding, contracting, and purchasing

Design and operationalize the “Procurement Front Door”, ensuring a single, guided entry point that routes requests to the correct workflows, systems, and buying channels based on risk, category, and value

  • Lead the expansion and ongoing execution of orchestration platforms (e.g., OCC / Preferred Supplier List, intake, guided buying), ensuring coverage across Direct and Indirect spend categories
  • Define and enforce orchestration governance, including policies, approval logic, compliance checkpoints, and alignment to category strategies and preferred suppliers
  • Partner with IT and solution providers to integrate orchestration with core systems (ERPs, Coupa, Ariba, CLM, SIM, sourcing, AI tools), ensuring scalability and performance across regions
  • Drive adoption and value realization, including stakeholder change management, training, communications, and KPI tracking (cycle time, compliance, preferred supplier usage, savings enablement)
  • Translate business needs into orchestrated processes, balancing automation, self-service, and human intervention to optimize efficiency and risk management
  • Enable AI and automation use cases within orchestration (e.g., guided supplier selection, intelligent routing, autonomous sourcing triggers)
  • Continuously identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities, reducing manual effort, tool fragmentation, and non-compliant spend

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in business, IT, finance, engineering or Supply Chain
  • Minimum 7 years experience the Procurement technology space
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end Source-to-Pay processes and how they interoperate across systems and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to translate fragmented processes into cohesive, orchestrated experiences
  • Strong process design mindset spanning people, process, data, and technology
  • Experience influencing without authority and leading change across Procurement, IT, and business stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex process and technology concepts to executive and operational audiences
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable business value through process standardization, automation, and digital enablement
  • Strong program and project management capabilities, including roadmap development, dependency management, and value tracking
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity while establishing structure, governance, and repeatable operating models
  • Project management expertise and ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Collaborative working style with excellent interpersonal skills
