We are seeking a talented Front End Software Engineer to join our team and help build world-class web applications using React and Next.js. You will work on customer-facing applications, internal tools, and platforms that support Tesla's mission. What You'll Do:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using React and Next.jsCollaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) using Next.jsWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth

What You'll Bring:

5+ years of professional experience in front-end development Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) to enhance productivity and code quality Strong proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScriptExperience with Next.js framework including App Router, Server Components, and API routes Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles Experience with state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, React Context)Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQLExperience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques

Expected Compensation:

$120,000 - $396,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
