About the role

What to Expect

Manage a small group of equipment maintenance technicians that are responsible for equipment availability, and performance.  Perform preventative maintenance and repair on a variety of electro-mechanical, robotic, and pneumatic manufacturing equipment. Develop and maintain maintenance and calibration schedules for all tools, machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing facility. Perform supporting activities for engineering and manufacturing including 5S and Lean manufacturing activities, material handling improvements, production line configuration, and safety procedures.  Manage workload with a positive attitude as a hands-on team player in a collaborative work environment.

This person must be able to build upon previous successes and take our Maintenance teams to the next level. Must be capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and department leaders to address concerns and issues that affect part quality, production efficiency, work cell ergonomics, equipment maintenance, etc. This person will also have exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and management skills, demonstrating the ability to be an innovator and change agent.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage, mentor & lead a team of Maintenance Technicians focused on equipment reliability & performance

  • Develop & implement preventive maintenance programs to maximize uptime & efficiency

  • Troubleshoot & resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic & robotic equipment issues

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement & operational excellence

  • Maintain accurate documentation, including work orders, procedures & maintenance schedules

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental health & safety (EHS) protocols

  • Manage spare parts inventory & coordinate equipment repairs, upgrades & refurbishments

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Experience leading remanufacturing, teardown, or repair operations
  • Demonstrated success launching a new production line or repair process
  • Strongly preferred automotive, battery pack, HV, or thermal/HVAC product background
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills
