What To Expect
Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Fleet and Business team as a Senior Account Manager. If you have a successful track record of working with fleet management companies, building partnerships with global fleet managers, and developing executive-level relationships, this could be the opportunity for you. Join us in promoting electric vehicles and sustainable energy solutions. The Senior Account Manager will report to the Regional Manager of Sales and Delivery, Eastern Canada, and will closely collaborate with other teams, including local operations and HQ business sales leadership to consistently drive growth in business.

What You'll Do

  • Actively partner with the local Sales leadership to develop a cohesive strategy for the implementation and growth of Business-to-Business sales within Canada. Manage your part in the overall business plan by working cross-functionally with other departments
  • Facilitate partner meetings regularly and effectively. Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge in respect of all vehicles, processes and business finance solutions. Conduct competitor analysis on a regular basis
  • Use Tesla’s internal tools to manage your pipeline, including but not limited to logging appointments, calls, test drives, contacts and meeting notes. Ensure customers are fulfilling their contractual obligations (e.g. payment terms). Continuous improvement of processes and procedures to reduce operational friction and perform ad-hoc duties as and when required
  • Meet all sales objectives to drive Tesla’s mission, including but not limited to: driving new account creation (prospecting), solidifying orders, scheduling sales meetings, maintaining regular and proactive outbound contact, and hosting test drives for prospective clients
  • Reach out proactively to businesses within Canada that have not yet referred to Tesla and operate with a real “hunter” mentality, with high activity levels to stimulate demand. Own the relationship for corporate clients within Canada; not only educating them about our company and our vehicle offerings but also ensuring a great customer journey and ownership experience throughout
  • Open company car policies and become the preferred EV OEM for business clients. Drive our customers’ success by acting as a facilitator to meet their needs. Partner with the inbound sales channel (retail) to further drive sales. Establish and manage all contractual agreements with these customers where applicable

  • What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Minimum of 5 years of end-to-end enterprise sales experience, ideally with 5 years in the Electric Vehicle, Electric Charging, Telematics, Fleet Management, or Mobility as a Service industry
  • Must posses and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Demonstrated ability to forecast and execute strategic sales plans resulting in exponential sales growth, with a proven track record to meet and exceed targets and goals
  • Strong analytical skills to quantify opportunities using data and influence decision makers
  • Experience in developing and implementing national frameworks or strategies for large-scale organizations, with a focus on scalability and alignment with organizational goals
  • Bilingual, French and English (French as mother tongue or equivalent proficiency). Use of English is required for communications with internal and external partners, understanding and analysis of documents, and use of multiple platforms, interfaces and software
  • For roles located in the provinces of ON, MB, AB and BC: this role requires you to possess and maintain a motor vehicle salesperson license/certificate issued by the applicable provincial regulator. Without this licence/certificate, you cannot engage in sales activities. Possessing and maintaining a license/certificate is therefore a condition of employment and continued employment. Before submitting your application, you should check to see if you are eligible for a salesperson license/certificate by contacting the regulator in your province
