What To Expect
The Warehouse Team Lead role involves effectively communicating and addressing both organizational and operational needs, while overseeing warehouse performance, providing guidance and support to team members, and identifying areas for team and process development. The Team Lead successfully manages the resource & capacity planning, relationship between staff and the organization, ensuring alignment and mutual success. Additionally, the Tesla Warehouse Team Lead upholds integrity as a core value in their daily responsibilities.

What You'll Do

Set clear priorities for teams to maximize performance, workflow, and customer experience

Ensure compliance with EH&S standards for a safe and legal work environment, including proper material and equipment handling

Foster open communication and improve the work atmosphere through resource optimization and task delegation

Support Warehouse Supervisor with performance cycles and assist with onboarding and training of new staff

Manage forecasted volumes and resource & capacity planning

Lead the team in our business growth, creating stability & identifying process improvements

Oversee key business KPIs, SLAs, and ensure adherence to 5S standards for a clean and efficient workspace

Collaborate with colleagues and the Warehouse Supervisor to improve warehouse processes and address operational bottlenecks

Lead by example, promoting a change management culture and continuous productivity improvements

What You'll Bring

Be available to work shifts: from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, rotating between both every week.

3-5 years of Team Lead experience in a warehouse or distribution center

Proficient in warehouse management systems and software including knowledge of safety regulations and compliance in warehouse operations.

Experience in inventory management and control

Familiarity with logistics and transportation processes

Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively by offering strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proven track record of meeting productivity targets

Ability to analyze performance data and make informed decisions
