Position Description
Tesla Korea is looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world.
The Body Shop Parts Advisor will play a key role in managing Tesla internal Body Shops(IB). Responsibilities will include processing customer orders, facilitating parts sales, and managing supplier-related inquiries, while providing additional support to internal Bodyshop to improve operational efficiency.
This role requires a thorough understanding of parts for accident repair vehicles and a high level of responsibility.
You must demonstrate excellent communication with both internal and external customers and, to provide outstanding service at all times, be proactive, highly organized, and smart at work.
This position is located at Tesla Dongtan Center. If you are interested in becoming a part of a world-class service team supporting the latest EV technology, we are interested in hearing from you.
Responsibilities
- Receive parts orders, issue invoices, check shipping schedules, and resolve technical issues to support the needs of vehicle repair services.
- Accurately record parts transactions and data into the Management System – attention to detail critical.
- Conduct transactions in the system; walk customers through orders and provide summaries.
- Escalate any issues that need to be addressed to correct any service parts issues from internal Bodyshop.
- Maintain records of payment, outbound list, and claims.
- Communicate estimated parts shipping and arrival times, including regular updates.
- Follow up with customers and internal staff on parts orders and ensure complete satisfaction with the order.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Help maintain cleanliness of internal Bodyshop.
- Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
- Assist the Parts Manager and IB Operation in achieving the goal of exceeding IB KPI.
Requirements
- 3+ years of work experience in the automotive industry. Dealer automotive repair service experience is necessary.
- Ability to use Dealer Management System(s), EPC, SAP, MS Office Suite.
- Associate Degree or certificate in Automotive Technology, preferred.
- Fluent in Korean and a basic level of English is preferred.
- Understand mid-level automotive techniques related to vehicle repair.
- Knowledge of automotive equipment, parts, and servicing methods.
- Understanding of Dealer Business Process and Best Practice.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the public.
- Maintain and perform top-level professional integrity and appearance as a Parts Advisor.
