About the role

What To Expect:

Tesla is seeking an Incentives Specialist to support the identification, proposal development, application submission, and compliance management for Class 8 truck and charging incentive programs. This role involves close collaboration with the Business Development team to gather essential information for competitive applications, match customers to suitable incentive programs, and ensure compliance through data collection and reporting. A high degree of organization and experience in grant administration are critical for success in this position.

What You'll Do:

Build and maintain a database of Class 8 truck and charging incentive program opportunities, providing updates to key internal and external stakeholders as deadlines approach Include program details, funding levels, disbursement mechanisms, application deadlines, requirements, and reporting obligations in the database Write compelling narratives and collect key technical information to submit competitive grant applications Submit rebates or vouchers on behalf of customers Oversee the entire incentive cycle, including application, implementation tracking, compliance, and reporting Manage communication between customers, the Business Development team, and incentive program administrators to ensure successful completion of customer incentives Coordinate data collection and reporting to maintain compliance with awarded grants or incentives

Experience with grant writing and a proven track record of success in securing incentives Experience working with government agencies Strong organization and multitasking skills Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills Ability to independently manage multiple projects with varying requests, schedules, and priorities Capability to thrive in a complex, fluid, fast-paced, and demanding work environment Proficiency in organizational applications for tracking and visibility across multiple teams

Expected Compensation:

$112,000 - $204,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
