What You'll Do

Contribute to set of Architectural construction / contract documents for various site project

Industry advancements in Architectural assemblies, material applications, project delivery, product design

Humanize the biggest buildings in the world through design and Site Master Planning

Participate in project scheduling / cost estimating in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production

Develop process improvements / workflows / templates to increase design productivity and quality of deliverables and mentor team members

Manage project progress on equivalent of HOAI phases of design and adapt HOAI phases to Tesla vertically integrated engineering and construction efforts

Collaborate with design team, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives

Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings

Assist with the review of RFI’s and Submittals during the construction administration portion of the project

Help develop REVIT families, standard details, and manage BIM files alongside the Virtual Design & Construction team.

Drive and obtain permits with all local authorities and departments

Perform design option analysis for cost efficiency, constructability, etc.

What You'll Bring

Minimum of 8 years of related project experience

Knowledge of relevant building codes and accessibility requirements

Recent understanding of german EnEV and GEG regulation

Solid experience working with permitting and checking engineers

Code Planning / Life Safety design; AwvS knowledge and experience is a plus

Program / Project Management Experience related to large construction projects, preferably greenfield industrial facilities

Construction Administration Experience in all HOAI project phases

Ability to work cross-functionally and manage large teams

Works well under pressure and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Proficiency in 2D/3D software, such as Auto CAD, Revit, 3d Studio MAX, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and/or SketchUp

Good written and spoken German skills. Good English language skills; more is a plus
