Description
We are seeking a highly-motivated, dependable Systems Engineer (Windows & VMware) to join our IT Infrastructure team. You will be responsible for Windows Server and VMware administration on multiple site locations. Experience with OS installation, configuration, monitoring, automation and scripting with PowerShell, capacity planning and optimization are essential.

Responsibilities And Support

VMware and Windows Server installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.

Support Microsoft services such as AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, IIS, FTP, DFS and NTFS.

Support VMware products such as vCenter, ESXi and vRops.

Install and Configure Physical servers.

Backup and Recovery solution for VMware and Windows.

Support via ticketing system and changes implementation following IT service standards.

Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation with the team, respond to incidents within agreed SLA.

Provide solutions and improvements for existing infrastructure issues.

Manage and implement security patching for Windows Servers and VMware environments.

Partner and work with other infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

Proactively develop and implement scripts for automation of repetitive tasks.

Comply and follow with documented standard operational procedures, create new processes, and update existing ones.

Requirements

+3 years of experience supporting Windows Server and VMware environments.

Experienced in writing and maintaining technical documentation

Experience using PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation of infrastructure tasks.

Good troubleshooting abilities.

Experience working on mission critical environments with 24/7 production customers.

Very good verbal and written communication skills (English).
