What To Expect
Join our Technical Service Doors & Gates team as an Intern for the compliance and documentation area.

You will support regulatory compliance, technical documentation, and floor plan updates for doors, gates, and related infrastructure. The role offers hands-on experience in compliance, CAD/BIM tools, and cross-functional collaboration, preparing you for future roles in infrastructure, fire safety, or engineering

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and update compliance records for fire protection doors, gates, and related infrastructure systems.
  • Organize and archive technical documents (e.g., certifications, test reports, installation records).
  • Support digital documentation systems and create repositories for compliance records.
  • Review specifications and certifications to ensure compliance with German and European fire safety standards (e.g., DIN EN 16034, DIN 4102).
  • Update floor plans using CAD/BIM tools (AutoCAD, Revit) with fire protection details.
  • Verify accuracy through physical inspections and cross-referencing documentation.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and compliance teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Support audit preparations and participate in compliance inspections


  • What You'll Bring

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Fluent in English (German proficiency is a plus for technical standards).
  • Basic skills in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit); familiarity with document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Aconex) is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of technical standards (e.g., DIN EN 16034) is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Preferred (but not required): prior internship experience in infrastructure, fire safety, or compliance; knowledge of German building codes (e.g., Musterbauordnung); familiarity with fire door inspection processes
