- Install and operate data acquisition equipment and other instrumentation to support accurate test setup and wiring
- Interpret connector pin-outs, electrical schematics, and CAD drawings to support accurate test setup, wiring, and issue diagnosis
- Record, analyze, and document test data; report issues found during troubleshooting and work closely with Process, Product, and Design Engineering for feedback and resolution
- Perform electrical troubleshooting on interconnect setups, wiring, connectors, and related systems using diagnostic tools, multimeters, testers, visual inspection, and schematics
- Support the development of troubleshooting plans and methods to ensure reliability, structural, and engineering targets are met, while assisting with additional projects as business needs evolve
What You’ll Bring
- Proven hands-on experience assembling discrete wire harnesses, interconnects, and connectors in a production setting, including soldering of wires, terminals, and through-hole/SMT components; prior experience in automotive, aerospace, or high-volume electronics manufacturing environments is strongly preferred
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, connector pin-outs, wiring diagrams, and CAD drawings, with familiarity with basic CAD viewing tools
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for wiring, connector, and harness issues using multimeters, testers, and visual inspection
- Knowledge of or certification in IPC J-STD standards (e.g., IPC-J-STD-001 for soldering) and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620 for cable and wire harness assemblies is preferred
- Familiarity with production documentation, quality systems, and lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, follow documented procedures, meet production rates, and maintain quality, safety, and ESD standards
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and production teams to support continuous improvement
