What To Expect
Tesla's EMEA Recruiting team is seeking a Senior or Lead Technical Recruiter to join us in London, Amsterdam, or Berlin. In this role, you'll drive hiring for diverse technical teams—from software to vehicle engineering—fueling our most complex and high-impact projects, without being confined to a single job family or skillset.

We're looking for a proven expert in technical recruiting who can source, engage, and evaluate EMEA's top technical talent, while building and owning relationships with our senior leadership. Beyond hiring, you'll elevate the team by mentoring junior recruiters, modeling best practices, and leading initiatives to refine our processes and workflows.

Ideal candidates are data-driven problem-solvers who thrive in ambiguity, apply strong project management skills, and innovate creative solutions to recruitment challenges. One hire at a time, you'll help assemble the talent revolutionizing energy and transportation, accelerating our path to a sustainable future—and shaping the systems and products that power our employees' and customers' daily lives.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to evaluate talent needs, deliver expert guidance on hiring strategies, and own the end-to-end recruitment cycle for high-stakes technical roles.
  • Establish and manage realistic recruiting timelines, proactively identifying risks and implementing solutions to keep processes on track and efficient.
  • Leverage data analytics to evaluate candidate pipelines, measure recruitment performance, analyze talent market trends, and deliver insightful weekly reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize the recruiting funnel, deploying innovative techniques to source, attract, and engage high-quality passive and active talent across EMEA, ensuring a steady flow of top-tier candidates.
  • Lead in-depth behavioral interviews and phone screens to rigorously assess technical expertise and cultural fit within Tesla's fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
  • Guide hiring managers in designing effective interview processes, including structuring panels, defining evaluation criteria, and ensuring alignment with role requirements.
  • Prioritize a high-quality candidate experience at every touchpoint, continuously identifying ways to streamline processes and enhance overall satisfaction.
  • Go above and beyond core recruiting duties by leading long-term projects to enhance team capabilities, while flexibly supporting urgent, high-priority hiring needs across other areas or functions as required.

  • Digitally savvy, with the ability to quickly adopt and adapt to new technologies, systems, and tools to drive recruitment efficiency.

  • Thrives in an agile, fast-paced environment, adept at pivoting amid rapidly changing priorities, targets, and business needs without losing momentum.
  • Skilled in offer negotiations, with solid knowledge of relevant employment legislation and current talent market trends.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear, persuasive interactions with candidates, stakeholders, and teams
