Tesla is looking for an exceptional sourcer to join our recruiting team to partner with our Powertrain & Energy Engineering teams. You will hire top engineering talent responsible for developing next generation products, automated manufacturing lines, and the “machine that builds the machine”. Recruiting at Tesla is challenging and hiring timelines are often compressed, but the work is exciting and impactful to our mission. This role is 100% onsite in either Palo Alto, CA or Fremont, CA.

What You'll Do

Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to develop an intimate understanding of the business and their open roles

Develop sourcing strategies and talent mapping to effectively build a robust pipeline of diverse and qualified candidates to meet goals

Take a data-driven approach to calibrate sourcing strategy and business expectations as needed

Partner with recruiters to provide consistent updates to hiring managers and business leaders

Identify, attract, and hire top talent using recruiting tools

Provide an excellent candidate interview experience

Conduct thorough behavioral interviews to assess role and company fit

Efficiently and simultaneously manage more than 20 niche positions

What You'll Bring

1 or more years of sourcing recruiting experience

Experience and familiarity with recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, Gem, ATS systems)

Proven background in using creative research and sourcing methods to hire for niche areas and difficult roles

Experience with sourcing for any engineering field (e.g., manufacturing, software, mechanical, electrical, etc.)

Experience creating and maintaining healthy relationships across all functions of the company

Experience working through ambiguity and high-pressure to meet challenging deadlines

Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience

Expected Compensation

$64,000 - $168,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
