What To Expect
You will work in the Battery Cell area within the Mixing Manufacturing Engineering team, making you a key player in our battery cell plant. As a Manufacturing Technician (m/f/d), you will become an expert in our dry electrode mixing equipment and use your expertise to support design, installation and commissioning of our equipment.

You will contribute to achieving the highest efficiency and quality in an exciting and challenging environment to continuously improve our plant.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate installation and commissioning with suppliers or tesla’s resource, while maintaining time schedule, quality of execution and costs.
  • Participate in equipment upgrade design review and support documentation workflows, Manufacturing instruction redaction and maintenance plan definition
  • Supporting diagnosing and resolving issues as well as implementing optimization measures. Bringing in new ideas to creatively solve equipment and commissioning challenges
  • Collect commissioning feedback and analyze them with the team to implement learnings or drive focus improvement on our line in an iterative manner
  • Independently and proactively organizing the daily workflow in cooperation with the team, while also assisting in training our operational team on new work processes and coaching them accordingly until handover


  • What You'll Bring

  • Completed vocational training in process engineering, mechanical engineering, Chemical engineering, or a comparable field
  • Experience in large-scale process plant and automated processes or R&D experience in a field such as mixing, calendaring, or processes in paper, pharma or food industry
  • Experience with operating and troubleshooting process manufacturing equipment
  • Ideally, experience in the battery cell industry or with global standards for powder conveyance, explosion protection, and CE compliance in regulated environments.
  • Ability to work in a clean and dry room environment with low humidity, with safety being the top priority
  • Willingness to work in shifts punctually if required
