Join the Optimus Manufacturing Team in building revolutionary humanoid bi-pedal robots (Tesla Bot) that transform the way we approach mundane, repetitive, and hazardous tasks. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with experts in mechanical, electrical, controls, software, and manufacturing engineering to bring this ambitious vision to life. Be prepared to unleash your creativity and technical expertise to tackle complex challenges.
What You’ll Do
-
Develop end to end test strategies and drive continuously improvement of Tesla bot manufacturing test coverage and yield for bot subassembly through full bot assembly lines
-
Root cause testing failures. Develop comprehensive control plan for risk mitigation
-
Work with design, test software and firmware engineers to implement test coverage to catch build issues
-
Work with SQE, SIE and suppliers to drive electronics component test coverage and incoming quality control
-
Analyze manufacturing test data to quantify station yields, root causing failures and drive corrective actions. This includes conducting Design of Experiments studies to optimize pass/fail limits
-
Work with internal automation teams and external equipment suppliers to develop automated test equipment to high volume production circle time
-
Develop and launch scalable testing deployment in multiple geographic locations
What You’ll Bring
-
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
-
Experience in high volume electronics hardware manufacturing testing at PCBA, component and system levels
-
