What to Expect

Tesla is looking for a Driver (Class A & Hazmat Endorsement) to work on one of the most progressive vehicles in the world. If you are interested in contributing to an amazing customer experience, we want you to join our team. We are looking for self-motivated team players with a positive attitude that value customer satisfaction. The Driver is a key contributor in the Tesla experience.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver freight between production, service, and sales operations
• Daily truck and trailer inspection
• Vehicle cleaning (wash and minor detailing)
• Obtaining scale weights and refueling
• Capable of performing material handling practices within the warehouse environment in between loads
• Miscellaneous jobs as required

What You’ll Bring

• Valid driver’s license with Class A CDL and current DOT Physical Examination (medical card)
• TSA driver hazardous materials endorsement required and 48' - 53' tractor trailer hauling experience preferred
• Forklift Certification training a plus; will be required to operate on occasion
• Knowledge of local major and minor roadways and adherence to federal motor carrier safety regulations / DOT guidelines
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to follow instructions
• Able to work OT as required; multiple shifts (day and/or evening), and work within 50 mile radius of Tesla Factory
