What to Expect
This is a 24-hour facility, being on call and working shift is expected. Overtime is available depending on business needs. Competitive pay rate selected based on relevant experience. We are looking for a highly motivated, “hands-on” individual to join our Mechanical Maintenance Team for the maintenance of a new generation of high speed, automated manufacturing equipment. The role includes mechanical assembly of machine components, interpreting mechanical drawings, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, machining of parts, machine mechanical start-up, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and emergency/break-in repair work.
This position is available on either a Day Shift or Night Shift schedule. Shift schedules may follow a Monday–Friday workweek or a rotating 12-hour shift pattern with alternating days on and days off.
What You’ll Do
- Perform Preventative Maintenance as scheduled
- Perform troubleshooting of equipment
- Perform install, fabrication, and adjustment of pilot/experimental equipment to fulfill project needs
- Reading and interpreting mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings
- Installation of piping flanges, tanks, and other vessels
- Repairs of rotating mechanical equipment; pumps, compressors, screw feeders and blowers
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of proven experience in maintenance of custom automated machinery or other precision mechanical assembly
- Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings, mechanical drawings, and pneumatic schematics
- Familiar with basic measuring tools Vernier, micrometers, height gauge
- Familiar with basic operation of machine shop equipment lathe, mill and surface grinder
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues, report, repair
