Job Description The Role
Working as part of a multi-disciplined team to implement and support complex reconciliation solutions, the role will encompass using a variety of software tools and analytical skills to deliver high quality, fully functional reconciliation processes to the finance business community.
Involved in the full end-to-end project lifecycle, the software engineer is responsible for the design/development/configuration of the solution and will also provide technical support and guidance during the design/analysis and testing phases, as well as delivering training and post implementation support to the end users.
Your responsibilities:
Ø MS SQL Server
o Experience of MS Development tools: SSMS, Visual Studio, Report Builder
o Complex SQL scripting on tables/views/stored procedures/functions.
o Strong SQL analysis and issue resolution skills.
o Experience using large/complex databases.
o SSRS report development.
o Ability to build scalable and performant SQL procedures.
Ø Software processes
o F irm grasp of core s/w processes including governance, configuration control and release management, with experience of one or more of the following:
§ GitHub
§ JIRA
