A DAY IN THE LIFE:

This is more than a sales role — it is an opportunity to become a trusted clinical partner to healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers. You will leverage your clinical expertise to support the adoption of innovative insulin pump therapy, while building strong and lasting relationships across your territory.

• What You Will Do
• Drive sales performance across your assigned territory, meeting or exceeding targets.
• Build trusted relationships with endocrinologists, diabetes educators, and key opinion leaders.
• Deliver engaging product training and education to healthcare professionals and patients.
• Act as a clinical expert in Type 1 diabetes management and insulin pump therapy.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand Tandem’s presence in the diabetes community.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You're Awesome At:

• Experience in clinical sales, healthcare, or medical devices.

• Strong knowledge of diabetes care, including insulin pumps, CGMs, and AID systems.

• Ability to build trust and communicate effectively with both healthcare professionals and patients.

• Confident presenting to clinical stakeholders and influencing decision-making.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Fluent in German, with a good working knowledge of English.

• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.

• Experience in Healthcare and working with prescribers.

• Ideally will have a Nursing background (DiabetesberaterIN - DDG) or Dietitian or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.

• Maintenance of registration and licensure through clinical education.

• Continuing education on patient education on the technical use of diabetes technology and special considerations related to pump therapy in the marketplace.

• Experience in diabetes care, endocrinology, medical device sales, or a related clinical field.

• Previous experience engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and supporting complex HCP relationships is highly preferred.

• Direct knowledge of or experience with Type 1 diabetes patients is a strong advantage.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate as a clinical expert to patients and HCPs
