Job DescriptionGENERAL SUMMARY:

The International Product Manager is responsible for supporting the commercial execution and readiness of the international product portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Manager, International Product Commercialization / Portfolio, this role acts as the product expert and primary point of contact (POC) for internal and external stakeholders across international markets.

The Product Manager ensures that all product‑related elements required for successful commercialization are ready, aligned, and well understood by regional teams and distributor partners. Working closely with Brand, Clinical Education, Regulatory, and Regional Commercial teams, this role enables effective execution by ensuring clarity on product features, indications, positioning, and usage.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Product Expertise & Commercial Readiness

  • Serve as the product expert for assigned products and act as the primary point of contact for all product-related questions from regional teams and distributors.
  • Ensure international product readiness for launches, updates, and lifecycle milestones, including alignment on product features, labelling, indications, and claims.
  • Support commercial execution by ensuring that markets clearly understand how the product should be positioned and used, in alignment with global strategy.

Cross‑Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with International Brand team to ensure that messaging, positioning, and campaign strategies are clearly understood and executable at the regional level.
  • Partner with Clinical Education team to ensure training programs, educational content, and clinical resources are complete, accurate, and aligned with product strategy.
  • Coordinate with Regulatory, Operations teams to confirm market readiness and address product-related constraints or risks.

Regional & Distributor Support

  • Act as a key liaison with regional commercial teams and distributor partners, supporting them with product knowledge, clarification, and guidance.
  • Participate in regional meetings, distributor reviews, and launch readiness discussions to ensure alignment and confidence in product execution.
  • Gather and consolidate feedback from markets to inform continuous improvement and future planning.

Performance Monitoring & Market Insights

  • Monitor product performance, adoption trends, and market feedback in collaboration with regional teams.
  • Track competitive developments and evolving market needs related to assigned products.
  • Synthesize insights and provide recommendations to the Senior Manager to support portfolio decision-making.

External Engagement & Compliance

  • Support participation in international congresses, and distributor meetings as a product representative, when required.
  • Ensure all product-related activities and communications comply with applicable regulatory, legal, and ethical standards.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, skills & abilities:

  • Strong understanding of product management within healthcare, medical devices, or other regulated industries.
  • Ability to clearly explain complex product and clinical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience working in an international, matrixed environment with regional teams and distributors.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize market and performance data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European language is a plus.

Minimum certifications/educational level:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Health Sciences or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred.

Minimum experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in product management, commercial support, or a related role in healthcare or medtech.
  • Experience with diabetes preferred
  • Prior exposure to international markets and distributor-based models is desirable.

  • Resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways, demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

  • Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instruction on new assignments.
