Purpose
The Functional Analyst, Asset Management, will be responsible for full life cycle management of Technology Assets. The candidate will be responsible for reporting and analysis, tracking inventory levels, software metering, and license management. The candidate will understand current computer hardware and software entitlements, update documents, guidelines, and be familiar with Service Now Asset Management standards and best practices.The Functional Analyst, Asset Management collaborates with Product Owner/Platform Owner and team to deliver user stories focused on configuring package software or performing other highly technical tasks in a timely manner and as per set quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the team in executing highly technical tasks according to the specific needs of stories during each iteration
- Ensures design and development standards are being followed to minimize rework; promotes only quality-tested code and does it regularly
- Participates in the daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to update progress, highlight and resolve impediments
- Completes required documentation to communicate required information to deployment, maintenance, service, and business teams
- Provides production support and helps drive down technical debt
- Trains others on asset management policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Develops customer relationships by listening and understanding the customer, anticipating, and providing solutions to customer needs, and prioritizing customer satisfaction
- Develop documentation and provide training to users as appropriate
- Define potential improvement changes to resolve errors, prevent the recurrence of problems or improve system maintainability and stability
- Provide functional analysis for the domain/software related to Mergers & Acquisitions
- Provide functional analysis for domain/software RFP process

- Participer aux réunions quotidiennes (daily stand-ups), aux revues de sprint et aux rétrospectives pour communiquer l’avancement, souligner les obstacles et y apporter des solutions.
- Compléter la documentation requise pour transmettre l’information nécessaire aux équipes de déploiement, de maintenance, de service et aux équipes d’affaires.
- Fournir du soutien en production et contribuer à la réduction de la dette technique.
- Former les collègues sur les politiques, procédures et lignes directrices en gestion des actifs.
- Développer des relations avec les clients en écoutant et en comprenant leurs besoins, en anticipant leurs attentes et en offrant des solutions, tout en priorisant leur satisfaction.
- Rédiger la documentation et offrir de la formation aux utilisateurs, au besoin.
- Définir des améliorations possibles afin de corriger les erreurs, prévenir la récurrence de problèmes ou améliorer la maintenabilité et la stabilité du système.
- Fournir une analyse fonctionnelle pour le domaine ou les logiciels liés aux fusions et acquisitions.
