JOB DESCRIPTION

The following is a list of the essential duties and responsibilities of this job. Sysco maintains the right to modify job duties and responsibilities at its discretion.

• Starting wage: $22.06/hour
• Work schedule: Tuesday to Friday 1:00PM to 9:30PM, Saturday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM
• Responsible for washing all equipment including but not limited to Sysco trailers and tractors.
• Follows Lock Out Tag/Tag Out procedures as required.
• Maintains records in accordance with Sysco documentation requirements.
• Reports all damage of product or equipment as observed.
• Maintains the property free of obstacles; distributes salt/removes snow to allow for safe entry and exit of the yard and parking lots accessed by Sysco associates and community attending the site.
• Adhere to all Sysco Work Methods and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Empty garbage cans, sweeping under dock doors, and other janitorial duties as required.
• Fuel equipment as needed.
• Performs any other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License;
• Clear Driver’s Abstract
• Strong teamwork, communication and customer service skills
• Ability to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
• Related experience in a transportation or maintenance environment is an asset
