Night Sanitation Technichian

JOB DESCRIPTIONPurpose

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe facility/warehouse environment, adhering to established procedures and Preferred Work Methods (PWM).

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize spills of product, debris, or other foreign matter promptly and effectively.
• Clean and sanitize warehouse surfaces, including floors, walls, racking, doors, and other structural elements.
• Operate cleaning equipment, including power scrubbers, sweepers, walk-behind scrubbers, and other warehouse cleaning machinery, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of facility buildings, grounds, lighting fixtures, parking lots, and other exterior areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, and other common areas.
• Follow the daily sanitation schedule as assigned by the supervisor to ensure a consistent and effective sanitation maintenance program.
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Properly dispose of waste and recyclables according to established procedures.

Skills

• Equipment Operation: Ability to safely and effectively operate cleaning equipment such as power scrubbers, sweepers, and other industrial cleaning machinery.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
• Safety Consciousness: Awareness of safety hazards and the ability to follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to thoroughly clean and sanitize areas, ensuring no areas are missed.
• Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned tasks within established schedules.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members.
• Ability to Follow Instructions: Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

Certifications Education

High school diploma or GED

Experience

Required to work in extreme enviornments (Freezer 0 to -10 degrees up to Dry Ambient conditions, & Outdoors)
