JOB DESCRIPTIONPurpose

The Receiver I is responsible for the accurate and timely receipt of incoming shipments to the warehouse. This role ensures the quality and quantity of all incoming goods are verified and properly documented.

Fix-term 6 month Contract role Responsibilities

• Unload incoming shipments from trucks and trailers.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage, quantity, and quality.
• Verify order accuracy against purchase orders and other relevant documentation.
• Record all receiving information accurately in the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Product Handling:
• Sort and organize received products according to established procedures.
• Place received products in designated storage locations.

Safety & Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.

Skills

• Physical Strength: Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
• Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (e.g., addition, subtraction).

Certifications Education

High school diploma or GED

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of heavy objects.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach frequently.
