ABOUT THE ROLE:

Supabase is seeking a Field Marketing Manager to join our lean, high-performing marketing team and help scale our global events program. In this role, you’ll support third-party events and trade shows, developer community events, hosted programs, and our flagship user conference series.

As a key member of the team, you’ll play a critical role in executing high-impact event experiences that build brand awareness, deepen community engagement, and drive pipeline generation. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, bringing strong ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and a love for live events.

We are a remote-first, async team, so strong written communication and the ability to operate independently are key to success.

If you’re excited to help shape Supabase’s event footprint around the world, we’d love to hear from you!

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Passionate about building memorable, high-quality event experiences

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong at managing timelines and multiple priorities

  • Execution-focused, but always thinking about impact

  • Analytical and data-driven, you use metrics to make decisions and improve outcomes

  • Calm under pressure, adaptable onsite, and quick to problem-solve

  • Comfortable working independently and owning projects end-to-end

  • A clear communicator who builds strong relationships across teams

  • Scrappy and resourceful, you make things happen with limited resources

  • Excited to learn, improve processes, and grow as the program scales

  • Willing to travel up to ~50%

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Own execution for a portfolio of Supabase events across sponsored, hosted, and community programs

  • Help evaluate event opportunities and recommend where we should invest time and budget

  • Support sponsorship execution including securing packages, managing deliverables, and coordinating contract workflows

  • Manage event budgets, vendors, timelines, run-of-show docs, and onsite operations

  • Place vendor orders and coordinate production/logistics (booth assets, shipping, print, signage, swag, etc.)

  • Partner cross-functionally (Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Dev Rel, Design, Ops, Finance, Legal) to align goals and deliver high-quality events

  • Coordinate event presence and attendee experience (booth, demos, staffing prep, brand details)

  • Support promotion and attendee communications (registration, reminders, internal readiness)

  • Ensure lead capture and post-event follow-up in partnership with Operations

  • Track event performance and contribute to reporting and program improvements

  • Help build repeatable playbooks, templates, and processes to scale the program

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • 4-7+ years experience in event marketing and/or field marketing (B2B SaaS preferred)

  • Proven ability to run high-quality events end-to-end with strong attention to detail

  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders

  • Comfortable managing budgets, vendors, and contracts

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, lean, remote, and async environment

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Fully Remote

We hire globally. We believe you can do your best work from anywhere. There are no Supabase offices, but we provide a We Work membership or co-working allowance you can use anywhere in the world.

  • ESOP

Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we’re building together.

  • Tech Allowance

Use this budget to set up your ideal work environment—laptop, monitor, headphones, or whatever helps you do your best work.

  • Health Benefits

Supabase covers 100% of health insurance for employees and 80% for dependents, wherever you are. Your wellbeing and your family’s health are important to us.

  • Annual Off-Sites

Once a year, the entire company gathers in a new city for a week of connection, collaboration, and fun. It’s a highlight of our year.

  • Flexible Work

We operate asynchronously and trust you to manage your own time. You know what needs to be done and when.

  • Professional Development

Every team member receives an annual education allowance to spend on learning—courses, books, conferences, or anything that supports your growth.

ABOUT THE TEAM:

Supabase was born-remote and open-source-first. We believe our globally distributed team is our secret weapon in building tools developers love.

  • 180+ team members

  • 40+ countries

  • 15+ languages spoken

  • $496M raised

  • 430,000+ community members

  • 30,000+ memes posted (and counting)

We move fast, build in public, and use what we ship. If it’s in your project, we probably use it in ours too. We believe deeply in the open-source ecosystem and strive to support—not replace—existing tools and communities.

HIRING PROCESS

We keep things simple, async-friendly, and respectful of your time:

  1. Apply – Our team will review your application.

  2. Intro Call – A short video chat to get to know each other.

  3. Interviews – Up to four calls with:

  • Founders

  • Future teammates

  • Someone cross-functional from product, growth, or engineering (depending on the role)

  1. Decision – We may follow up with a final question or go straight to offer.

All communication is remote and we aim to move fast.

Love Supabase, but the $25/mo pricing tier killed my side projects. My migration path to self-hosted SQLite.

Supabase vs Convex vs Neon

I know this appeared in multiple threads in the past but I would like to ask for latest state as things move so fast and also specifically on my situation for my NextJs app. I started a MVP with Supabase. Did a bunch of development, features experiments and the tables and schema grew messy. Before
