Today, we’re on a mission to change the way the world interacts with energy, and we’re building a company and brand that puts power at the center of life. And we’re doing it by designing a dynamic culture where employee development, well-being, and safety come first. We’re unlike any other solar company. Our vertically integrated model gives us total control over every part of the energy lifecycle – from sale through installation and beyond – so you can find endless opportunities for growth. Come join a career you can grow in and a culture you can run with.

The Senior Replenishment Planner owns replenishment planning for a product category, ensuring branch warehouses are positioned to meet near-term installation and service demand. This role proactively manages safety stock rules, communicates risks before they impact the field, and partners cross-functionally to ensure fulfillment runs smoothly. The Senior Replenishment Planner leads by example in customer service, field partnership, and cross-functional problem solving.

We are looking for candidates that can work out of either our Lehi, UT or San Francisco, CA offices. Pay varies based on location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inventory & Replenishment Execution

  • Own replenishment parameters and Oracle logic for an assigned product category, ensuring accuracy and effectiveness.

  • Manage replenishment flows from DCs to branches, balancing service levels with inventory efficiency.

  • Proactively monitor inventory levels and address imbalances before warehouses raise concerns.

Stockout Prevention & Communication

  • Lead proactive communication with warehouse teams, install ops, and leadership when risks arise.

  • Provide scenario analysis and recommend mitigation strategies when inventory risk emerges.

  • Partner with Supply Planners on DC constraints and collaborate on parameter adjustments that impact pull velocity.

Cross-Functional Engagement

  • Integrate with Demand Planners to understand NPIs, volume shifts, and demand assumptions; own initial stocking orders for NPIs.

  • Partner with field warehouses, traveling crews, and operations leaders to anticipate local/regional volume changes.

  • Serve as the primary replenishment contact for branch ops in assigned category.

Continuous Improvement & Leadership

  • Mentor Replenishment Planners, sharing best practices in proactive communication and Oracle parameter management.

  • Lead small process improvement projects to improve MRF handling, replenishment accuracy, or warehouse communication.

  • Develop deeper product knowledge to validate requests, anticipate issues, and connect dots across related products.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred.

  • 4–7 years of replenishment, planning, or operations experience.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle preferred), with strong Excel/SQL skills for replenishment analytics.

  • Experience with NPIs, safety stock strategies, and inventory risk management.

  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills; proven ability to anticipate and resolve field concerns.

Why This Role Matters:

The Senior Replenishment Planner ensures Sunrun’s replenishment process is proactive, customer-focused, and reliable. By anticipating stockouts, managing NPIs, and partnering closely with the field, this role directly impacts installer productivity and customer satisfaction.
