Stryker Joint Replacement Division Hip Business Unit is currently seeking a Senior Engine er, New Product Development (NPD) to support the Hip Business Unit. This is a hybrid position based in Mahwah, NJ.

As the Senior Engineer, you’ll play a key role in developing advanced components and systems for joint replacement solutions.

What You Will Do

• Research, design, and verify components/modules for medical devices with minimal supervision

• Translate design inputs into engineering specifications and sub-system level designs

• Prototype and analyze solutions to validate concepts

• Apply engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges

• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, and Marketing teams

• Create and refine engineering documentation, including Design History Files

• Ensure compliance with design controls and risk management per our Quality Management System

• Support project success through ownership, prioritization, and effective communication

What You Need

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Biomedical preferred)

• Minimum 2 years of engineering experience

Preferred

• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design practices

• Proficiency in creating engineering drawings and models using GD&T and CAE tools

• Experience applying materials and manufacturing knowledge to product design

• Ability to clearly communicate technical plans and concepts to cross-functional teams

$93,200.00 - $155,400.00 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 20%
