Why you’ll love this role

As a Content Integrity Associate, you’ll be part of a collaborative and mission-driven Trust & Safety team dedicated to protecting the integrity of the marketplace. The team tackles new challenges every day, reviewing content to identify emerging risks and policy violations. Through thoughtful and consistent decision-making, the team directly safeguards customers, supports brand trust, and ensures a safe and compliant community experience.

This role requires working one weekend day, and may require some holiday coverage.

What you’ll do

  • Review and moderation of sensitive and nuanced content, handling complex, high-risk cases that require strong judgment and adherence to policy guidelines.

  • Identify and escalate specialized or complex content, including threats, unsafe activity, coordinated abuse, and severe violations, while contributing to the detection of repeat offenders and emerging policy abuse trends.

  • Handle user appeals related to moderation and enforcement actions by conducting thorough secondary reviews, reassessing content against policy standards, and clearly documenting final determinations.

  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in platform content policies, emerging risks, trends, and regulatory standards, providing feedback to improve policy clarity, enforcement consistency, and detection mechanisms.

  • Maintain defined quality, accuracy, and productivity standards by meeting service-level expectations, participating in calibration sessions, and continuously improving decision-making consistency.

About you* *

  • 1–3 years of experience in content moderation, Trust & Safety, fraud operations, or a related compliance-focused role.

  • Demonstrated ability to apply complex policies consistently and exercise sound judgment in high-volume, fast-paced environments.

  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills, with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and strong English language proficiency.

  • Ability to review sensitive or disturbing content with professionalism, emotional resilience, and discretion.

Nice to have skills

  • Experience handling user appeals and secondary review processes.

  • Exposure to AI-assisted moderation tools, risk scoring systems, or case management platforms.

  • Knowledge of or professional experience with footwear, apparel, accessories, collectibles, and consumer electronics categories.

Pursuant to the various pay transparency laws/acts, the base salary range is $22 - $26 per hour, plus opportunities for benefits (e.g., medical, dental), equity and discretionary bonuses (for full-time hires). Compensation is dependent on geography and may vary.

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, and any other state or local hiring regulations, we will consider for employment any qualified applicant, including those with arrest and conviction records, in a manner consistent with the applicable regulation.
