About the Role:
As a Finance Intern, you will support the controlling team in monitoring the financial performance of the Used Car business. You will contribute to monthly closing activities, financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting processes, and business analysis, helping management make informed decisions based on financial information.
This internship provides valuable exposure to automotive finance, business controlling, and financial analysis within a dynamic and international environment.
What is Controlling?
Controlling is a key finance function that supports business decision-making by planning, monitoring, analyzing, and reporting financial performance. Controllers act as business partners, ensuring that financial results are understood, risks and opportunities are identified, and corrective actions are implemented when necessary.
- Key responsibilities
- Participate in month-end closing activities.
- Support reconciliation and review processes with accounting teams.
- Analyze variances between actual results, budget, and forecast.
- Contribute to the automation and simplification of reporting processes.
- Prepare presentations and summaries for business reviews and management meetings.
- Assist in special projects related to finance and controlling activities.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Interest in finance, controlling, and the automotive industry.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate effectively in an international environment (English is required).
