  • Americas, this role will be responsible for executing on a robust and strategic accounting product portfolio in support of the organization’s sales, revenue, and client-focused goals. The right individual will contribute as both an individual and team player, working across a globally aligned product office to deliver tangible results.

What you will be responsible for

As Accounting Product Management Lead, Vice President

  • Develop strategic vision for accounting value streams inclusive of product capabilities, service delivery, technology platforms, and data & digital experience
  • Conduct market research to identify trends that affect the product line for existing products as well as the opportunity to introduce new adjacent offerings
  • Maintain a pulse on related service delivery results to drive product improvement
  • Create business cases for product development and monitor ROI
  • Work with Sales and Coverage teams responsible for clients to grow the business, monitoring pipeline and providing guidance around opportunity
  • Advocate, both internally and externally, on behalf of the team to effectively drive value and growth in the market
  • Work across the Product organization to clear hurdles for introduction of products, operating models, and revenue opportunities in the region

What we value

These skills will help you succeed in this role

  • Proven experience in Product Management/Business Analysis in the financial services industry (either a Financial Technology provider or a Financial Services company)
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills for this highly visible position requiring frequent, very articulate communication
  • Deep knowledge of accounting requirements for various fund types/structures and security types in global regions
  • Fund Accounting operational knowledge as well as BPI (Business Process Improvement) experience
  • Both assertive and collaborative, able to navigate a matrixed organization to get things done
  • Ability to effectively network with peers and senior management

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
  • Masters in Data Sciences, Business Administration, or similar field, preferred
  • 12+ years’ experience in relevant industries: markets, finance, banking, or data sciences industries

Additional Skillsets & Expertise

  • Knowledge of “best of breed” technologies used for investment accounting
  • Previous experience working with large-scale, transformative programs with technology solutions at the forefront
  • Management of client and/or product profit & loss (P&L) experience

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $188,750 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.

Employees are eligible to participate in State Street’s comprehensive benefits program, which includes: our retirement savings plan (401K) with company match; insurance coverage including basic life, medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and other optional additional coverages; paid-time off including vacation, sick leave, short term disability, and family care responsibilities; access to our Employee Assistance Program; incentive compensation including eligibility for annual performance-based awards (excluding certain sales roles subject to sales incentive plans); and, eligibility for certain tax advantaged savings plans.
