Software Engineering & Development, SrAssc
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Java Developer with around 2 years of hands-on development experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in Java 11, Spring Boot, Oracle, and messaging technologies such as Kafka and MQ. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, good engineering discipline, and fluent English reading and writing skills to support collaboration in a global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java 11 and Spring Boot.
Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices to support business applications.
Develop and optimize database-related solutions in Oracle, including SQL writing, query tuning, and data validation.
Implement and support event-driven or message-based integrations using Kafka and MQ technologies.
Troubleshoot production and non-production issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver reliable fixes.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and release activities to ensure code quality and stable delivery.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Prepare and maintain technical documents, design notes, and support documentation in English.
Follow development standards, best practices, and secure coding principles throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Around 2 years of software development experience in Java-based application development.
Strong hands-on experience with Java 11.
Good experience with Spring Boot and related frameworks for enterprise application development.
Solid knowledge of Oracle Database, including SQL development and basic performance optimization.
Experience with messaging and streaming technologies such as Kafka and MQ.
Good understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and backend development best practices.
Experience with source control tools such as Git and standard build/dependency tools such as Maven or Gradle.
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Fluent English reading and writing skills, with the ability to read technical documents, write clear documentation, and communicate effectively with global teams through email and collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell commands.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment, and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and code quality tools.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
