Why this role is important to us:

Multi-Currency Horizon (MCH) is a core accounting system of State Street, providing many of the core accounting and transaction processing services. The system supports multicurrency and multi-transaction types, like short buy/sell, future, stock trading, bond trading. And it also provides various important financial reports to help fund managers to manage the funds or make investment strategies. We’re looking for a Senior Associate Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and integrity of MCH capabilities by applying strong test fundamentals, automation, and AI-assisted quality engineering practices.

What you will be responsible for:

• Work closely with Product Owner, mainframe or web developers, and business analysts to execute end-to-end quality activities within Global Distributed Agile teams

• Design, review, and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases covering functional, regression, and end-to-end testing as applicable

• Build, enhance, and maintain automation test frameworks and reusable test libraries for MCH/EHZ components, and critical end-to-end scenarios.

• Document and track defects in an issue tracking system; proactively communicate quality risks, trends, and root-cause insights to stakeholders

• Proactively engage early in requirements and design reviews to identify testability gaps and quality risks, working closely with stakeholders to recreate issues for assigned tasks

• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate issue recreation, test design, script development, and defect analysis while ensuring responsible, secure and compliant usage

What we value：

These skills will help you succeed in this role:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in QA and/or test automation, preferably in financial services or data-intensive platforms

• Demonstrable experience with automation frameworks and scripting (e.g., Java/Python, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber or similar)

• Strong SQL skills and experience validating backend data and reporting outputs

• Experience with API testing and service-level validation

• Ability to translate business and data requirements into effective testing solutions

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

AI / Modern QE skills (required or strong plus):

-Hands-on experience leveraging GenAI and AI-assisted tools (e.g., Github Copilot) to analyze requirements & impacts, draft test cases, develop and maintain automation, and analyze test failures.

-Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated outputs to ensure correctness, security, compliance, and alignment with enterprise standards.

-Solid understanding of testing considerations for AI/ML-enabled features, including model behavior validation, data quality assessment, bias awareness, and risk-based testing approaches.

• Strong Awareness of responsible AI and data privacy practices when using AI tools in an enterprise environment

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline

• Experience testing large-scale data platforms/analytics solutions and/or cloud data services is a plus

• Exposure to data governance, security testing, or information disclosure prevention practices is desirable
