Business Analyst – Performance Attribution Experience: 9+ years
Location: Bengaluru About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with a strong understanding of investment performance and attribution systems. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology teams to ensure effective delivery of data-driven solutions for fund performance analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business users, portfolio managers, and data engineering teams to gather and document functional and technical requirements.

• Analyze and translate performance attribution and investment data concepts into clear business and system specifications.

• Collaborate on solution design, ensuring alignment with performance, benchmark, and attribution methodologies.

• Support data validation, UAT, and production releases by defining test cases and verifying results.

• Track and manage changes, dependencies, and issues across the performance attribution workflows.

• Prepare process documentation, data flow diagrams, and business rules for ongoing enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 11+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Asset Management / Investment Banking / Financial Data Projects.

• Strong knowledge of Performance Attribution, Benchmarks, Portfolio Analytics, or Fund Reporting.

• Hands-on experience in SQL and comfort working with large data sets.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.

• Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Exposure to Fact Set, Bloomberg, or similar attribution platforms.

• Familiarity with Data Engineering workflows (e.g., Redshift, Databricks, Autosys, ETL tools).

• Understanding of cloud migration and data transformation initiatives.
