This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in contributing to our team as a Senior Associate, Software Engineer within State Street’s Global Technology Services organization. Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients. What You Will Do:

In this role, you will perform the following day-to-day activities:

EXAMPLE:

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise services for the Digital Tech Service platform, including Messaging systems, Bus services, Cloud Common components, UI Alert/Event Report web services, and integrated security solutions.

  • Implement application features using Java/J2EE, Oracle databases, Spring Framework, Rules engines, AJAX, and JMS messaging.

  • Build and optimize front-end components with responsive UI design principles, integrating alerts, event reporting, and dashboards into enterprise applications.

  • Integrate services into Cloud environments and ensure scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance.

  • Write unit, integration, and functional tests to validate service functionality and maintain high code quality standards.

  • Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architects, QA engineers, DevOps, and business analysts) to understand requirements, manage dependencies, and deliver solutions on time.

  • Review code and design documents to ensure adherence to best practices, performance standards, and security guidelines.

  • new technologies related to Cloud, enterprise messaging, and UI frameworks to improve platform capabilities.

Education and Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates should be:
