Internal Responsibilities
- Technology Leadership: Oversee Software Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Architecture teams with full delivery accountability, while delegating day-to-day operations.
- Platform Transformation: Lead the evolution of the technology and delivery infrastructure toward a cloud-native future state, emphasizing time-to-market, operational excellence, performance, resiliency, and security.
- Portfolio Alignment: Drive a unified technology portfolio across Engineering, Alpha, SaaS, and other business units to ensure consistency and strategic alignment.
- Architectural Vision: Define and champion a long-range architecture that enables the company to deliver industry-leading F2B solutions.
- DevOps Enablement: Establish streamlined processes for continuous integration and deployment, accelerating code-to-production cycles through DevOps methodologies.
- Financial Partnership: Collaborate with Finance and the Executive team to optimize technology spend, reduce client costs, and maximize customer success.
- Security Oversight: Own and manage all software security concerns across the product suite, ensuring compliance and proactive risk mitigation.
- AI Adoption: Spearhead the adoption of Artificial Intelligence across internal platforms and processes to enhance automation, decision-making, and operational efficiency.
- Growth Strategy: Drive the technology roadmap to support the company’s ambition of becoming a billion-dollar, technology-led enterprise.
- One State Street: Partner with State Street leadership to drive bring out collective strategy and vision to life. Promote collaboration within the different business lines. There will be a dual reporting line into State Street’s CIO to help ensure alignment.
External Responsibilities
- Client Engagement: Articulate the company’s technology roadmap and philosophy to clients and prospects, linking innovation to business value.
- Sales Enablement: Support the sales process by positioning the company’s platform (including Alpha) as the premier solution in the marketplace.
- Market Intelligence: Contribute to business development by researching emerging technologies and market trends that influence technology and operations strategy.
- Strategic Evaluation: Lead technical and organizational assessments of potential acquisitions and partnerships to support growth and innovation.
- Brand Advocacy: Partner with Marketing to strengthen the company’s digital presence and represent the brand at conferences, media events, and industry forums.
- AI-Driven Client Solutions: Champion the use of Artificial Intelligence in client-facing products and services to deliver differentiated value and competitive advantage.
Salary Range:
$300,000 - $412,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
