  • Research and map target accounts to understand organizational structure, business priorities, and relevant buying personas.
  • Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns for both net-new prospects and expansion opportunities within the existing client base.
  • Partner closely with Senior Account Executives and Sales Directors to develop territory-level outreach strategies and support the full sales cycle from initial engagement through qualification.
  • Participate in discovery calls and introductory meetings, helping to articulate CRD's value proposition to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Enablement teams to align outreach messaging with campaign themes and product positioning.

CRM Hygiene & Activity Reporting

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all prospect interactions, account data, and pipeline activity within Salesforce CRM.
  • Track outreach metrics, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution, providing regular updates to sales leadership.
  • Support forecasting accuracy by ensuring all qualified opportunities are reflected with appropriate stage and next steps in the CRM.

Continuous Learning & Market Awareness

  • Develop a working knowledge of CRD's platform capabilities, competitive landscape, and the investment management industry to support credible, informed client conversations.
  • Stay current on trends in asset management, fintech, and capital markets to identify emerging opportunities and tailor outreach accordingly.

Qualifications & Requirements

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in a business development, inside sales, or sales development representative (SDR/BDR) capacity, with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding outreach and pipeline targets.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage a high volume of outreach activities across multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Communication Excellence: Polished written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft compelling outreach messages and engage professionally with senior client contacts.

Preferred

  • Experience in financial services, fintech, capital markets, or enterprise SaaS sales.
  • Familiarity with SaaS sales models, including subscription-based revenue, renewal dynamics, and multi-stakeholder buying processes.
  • Exposure to investment management workflows, front-office technology, or institutional finance — helpful but not required; we invest in the right people.
