Who we are looking for State Street’s Wealth Services business is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Vice President to accelerate the growth of our Wealth Services franchise in Europe. This London‑based role focuses on expanding our market footprint, deepening strategic client relationships, and assisting in driving new business opportunities across the wealth ecosystem.

Why this role is important to us Wealth Services is a strategic growth area for State Street, enabling wealth managers and advisors to achieve better outcomes. This role helps scale the platform, identify new opportunities, and align client strategies with State Street’s capabilities.

What you will be responsible for

  • Document European market entry and track expansion planning.
  • Support the broader team in identifying and pursuing new wealth management opportunities.
  • Engage c‑suite decision‑makers and build strategic client relationships.
  • Partner with Sales and Relationship teams to support client growth.
  • Support creation of the European Wealth Services business plan and reporting.
  • Map and manage partners across the wealth ecosystem.
  • Understand client needs and translate themes into commercial insights.

  • Understanding of European wealth management markets, including knowledge of market dynamics and regulatory landscape of financial services within Europe.
  • Strong commercial and client‑facing skills.
  • Experience in supporting collaborating across the enterprise to deliver business results
  • Ability to document the translation of industry / client themes and trends for input into actions and track
  • Analytical and documentation skills.
  • Ability to create clear, compelling slides, and build high‑impact, executive‑ready presentations.
  • Contribute inputs to the Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in wealth management, asset servicing, sales, or relationship management.
  • Track record managing senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in large matrixed organisations.
  • Understanding of wealth platform ecosystems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
