Who We Are Looking For

The Managing Director within State Street’s Digital Asset Solutions team for Asia-Pacific is a senior strategic leader with deep expertise in digital asset technologies and strong institutional market experience across APAC.

This role will play a critical leadership role in shaping and executing the APAC digital asset strategy, aligning regional priorities with the global Digital Asset Solutions vision while responding to the unique regulatory, market structure, and client needs across Asia-Pacific.

The role will be based in Singapore or another major APAC hub and will report directly to the Head of Digital Asset Solutions, operating as part of a small, globally integrated leadership team.

Asia-Pacific is a critical growth region for digital assets, with rapidly evolving regulatory frameworks, increasing institutional adoption, and strong innovation across tokenization, digital custody, and market infrastructure.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Lead the execution of the Digital Asset Solutions strategy across APAC.

  • Own product leadership for digital asset offerings including tokenization and digital custody.

  • Establish governance frameworks covering risk, compliance, and regulatory oversight.

  • Drive senior-level client and regulator engagement across APAC.

  • Develop and execute commercial and go-to-market strategies.

  • Oversee operational readiness and service delivery models.

  • Represent State Street externally as a digital asset thought leader.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • 15+ years of experience in financial services, preferably Investor Services.

  • Strong leadership in digital transformation and change management.

  • Deep understanding of blockchain, tokenization, and digital asset infrastructure.

  • Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience leading teams across multiple APAC jurisdictions.
