Who we are looking for

We are seeking an Assistant Vice President who will report directly to the Vice President. WE are looking for a skilled Software Technical Lead with demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent communication skills. Candidate should possess substantial technical expertise in Payments and have a comprehensive understanding of development and configuration management processes. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead a team through all phases of the Application development, testing Lifecycle, which includes collaborating effectively with development, business, and other application teams.

You will be part of Global Payments technology delivery team, responsible for solution design, product configuration, integration, migration and development of all the payment-related application functionaries within the bank and thereby supporting payment processing through various clearing markets across the globe. You will join Global Payments Technology, a team essential to the company's leadership in Custodial services and Payments Technology.

What you will be responsible for

As Team Lead you will:

  • Designing Payment solutions
  • Lead the configuration and development of the changes to meet the business requirements and delivering those software changes timely
  • Collaborating with lines of business units, vendor partners, technical teams (across the bank) to manage the complexities of technical implementation against business requirements
  • Conducting workshops with team to explain the design and the respective use cases.
  • Participate in Release management functions and help with the sign off confirming that the final solution meets end user requirements
  • Be able to work with tight deadlines and under pressure to meet Industry wide / Organizational deadlines

What we value

  • Experience in financial and banking related applications
  • Good knowledge in various payment types like Domestic Fund Transfer, CHIPS/FED, Cross Border Payments/SWIFT, Instant or Faster Payments, RTGS, SEPA
  • Experience in Payments design, configuration and integration.
  • Knowledge of all SWIFT message types like – MT103, MT202, MT202COV, MT910, MT900, MT192, MT210, MT292.
  • Knowledge of ISO messages like all types of PACS, PAIN messages
  • Able to implement Configuration parameters, Customization Changes, Patches.
  • Good analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Payment Domain.
  • Perform technical analysis for projects that support and enable key business initiatives, and for upgrades and enhancements to existing strategic applications/systems.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors / Masters with computer science or related field
  • 10+ years of experience

Additional requirements

  • Experience in Unix/Linux/Windows Server
  • Experience with JBOSS/Web Sphere/Tomcat App Server or similar application servers
  • Experience with MQ/Kafka will be good value addition
  • Knowledge of the following high-level programming languages: Java, Shell/Perl/Python, SQL
  • Ability to work independently on tasks
  • Be analytical and overly detailed oriented when dealing with technical support issues and IT projects
  • Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $157,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
