Purpose of Position

A strong analyst, with strong business skills focused on delivering results, deductions and managing credit & collections activities for the largest business unit in Europe. Promoting teamwork and joint functionality to maintain a positive work environment with a focused and consistent team approach to ensure proactive and prompt action for both internal and external customers. Consistent handling of accounts is major importance in this role whilst contributing to reports showing results and foresight on issues with planning and positivity.

Main Responsibilities

• Collections and Reconciliation of AR Subledgers
• Daily Customer Contact and regular Customer Visits when needed
• Collaboration with OTC Stakeholders
• Support Dispute Management Function
• Negotiate Settlement of Overdue Accounts with Customers
• Liaison with Bank and Factoring Provider
• Escalation of Defaulted Accounts
• Credit Limit Reviews
• Deliver productivity via the standardization, streamlining and automation of processes
• Support due diligence and acquisition integration
• Other special projects and duties as may be necessary
• Collaboration with Commercial and Business care team
• Provide regular updates and feedback, highlighting regional challenges to OTC Manager
• Identify and implement process improvements, working with both local stakeholders and remote teams to optimize credit and collections activities

Experience & Qualifications Required

• Fluent in English, Dutch and French
• Knowledge of Credit & Collection and other collection practices necessary. Background in credit analysis and or previous bank lending / credit experience a plus.
• Experience in Credit & Collections tasks migrations and processes centralization
• Strong ethic that anticipates the needs of their business partners and customers
• Experience in SAP / systems skills
• Continuous improvement mind-set needed to support transformation and productivity
• Team building and excellent inter-personal skills (communication, build & maintain relationship)
• Organizational skills – continuous service delivery, time management
• 3 years to 5 Years experience in credit Analyst and Credit controller roles
