Position Summary
You acquire new industrial Business To Business (B2B) customers for Stanley Engineered Fastening every day. Your tools are your telephone and your car. You research, identify, and call decision-makers in industry. You visit them, identify their challenges and present the best value solution to win new business.
Key Responsibilities
- You are in face to face contact with new customers in the Business To Business (B2B) industrial sector every single day (E.g, general industry such as sheet metals, white goods, HVAC, renewable energy, transportation, heavy plant and equipment, non residential construction etc)
- You visit decision-makers – engineers, production managers, technical directors, and purchasing leads – every single day
- You spark interest in under 90 seconds and lock in high-quality field appointments
- You develop positive relationships with prospects and gain their trust
- You know how to understand your customers challenges and sell to them on value
- You collaborate with the internal support team to create an attractive offer for your new customers
- You successfully handle objections, negotiate with confidence and close the sales
- You maintain and document all activities in the CRM system (Sales Force)
- You report on progress using KPIs driven by the CRM system
- This is a development opportunity for the right candidate to progress into sales leadership
Essential Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- You love outbound telephone and field sales. You have already achieved success in cold calling and new business development
- You have at least 3 years of experience in field based sales, cold calling, Business To Business (B2B) lead generation, new business development
- You are a clear, confident communicator – in Polish, German and English
- You’re hungry, disciplined, and know how to close – no one needs to push you
- You know how to research smartly and quickly – and you find the right contacts where others give up
- CRM systems, KPIs and target figures motivate you – you want to exceed, not manage
- You already have experience with a CRM system, preferably Sales Force
- You must be experienced in selling skills such as rapport building, negotiating, handling and overcoming objections, closing.
- You need to be great at liaising with people on all levels and backgrounds
- You deal with setbacks in a sporting manner and stay focused
- You are an excellent listener, can manage your own time well and have planning and organisation skills
- You are performance driven and results orientated – you do not give up when it is difficult
- You consistently hit your KPIs – and celebrate every win
- An interest in technical products is highly desirable
