The Job:

As a Delivery Lead, you’ll be part of our Information Technology Solution Delivery team working as a hybrid employee. You’ll get to:

  • Supports the analysis of business needs and creates software solutions that meet those needs.
  • Prepares flow charts, business process management (BPM) workflows, and systems diagrams to assist in problem analysis.
  • Supports preparing design documentation and ensuring that functional and technical documentation meets requirements.
  • Designs, and documents software/solution according to SBD-IT systems standards, policies and procedures.
  • Support testing activities and provide guidance on configuration and coding when needed.
  • Provides technical assistance where needed to ensure timely resolution of incidents or issues.
  • Performs tasks to ensure execution plan is on track and reports any major deviations in budget or timeline.
  • Effectively plans and integrates new products with the existing IT landscape.
  • Review, guide, troubleshoot and resolve contentious issues escalated during implementation.
  • Supports the development of operating procedures and user manuals for transition into routine operations.
  • Support building of knowledge databases for technology, solutions and domain areas.
  • Work with architecture, application services, infrastructure, release management and other relevant stakeholders to enable a smooth deployment.
  • Continuously works on capturing and transferring tacit knowledge to vendors and knowledge management systems.
  • Works with outside partners to ensure SBD requirements are met.

The Person:

  • Undergraduate degree and 15+ years relevant experience, or Graduate degree and 10=15 years relevant experience.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Global implementations, upgrades, preferred.
  • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development).
  • ITFS Project Methodology knowledge.
  • Infrastructure technologies, including cloud computing / SaaS / IaaS / PaaS technologies.
  • Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Big Data Analytics, Data Architecture & Modeling.
  • Strong Background in IBM I (as400) including RPG/ILE, CL and DB2/400.
  • Proficiency in System Link and Infor ION.
  • Advanced SQL for DB2 knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) and other integration methods.
  • Agility’s: propagator, CFL and PPS (plug ins for Infor).
  • QAD Progress Open Edge platform.
  • Progress 4GL/ABL.
  • QAD Enterprise edition and Standard Edition and Adaptive AUX.
  • Proficiency with QAD Browse, Cyberquery, SSRS.
  • Experience with QAD Boomi, CIM, and other Standard EDI protocols.
