About the role:

As a Manufacturing Quality Supervisor at Skydio, you’ll be responsible for overseeing end-to-end manufacturing quality across assembly and test operations for advanced autonomous hardware products. You will lead a team of quality inspectors and technicians, ensuring products meet internal specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. This is a hands-on leadership role that partners closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Test to drive defect prevention, root cause resolution, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-reliability hardware environment.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Own day-to-day quality execution across assembly and test lines

• Lead and develop a team of quality inspectors and technicians

• Ensure adherence to approved processes, including SOPs, inspection plans, test procedures, and defect reporting systems

• Monitor and analyze quality KPIs (yield, defect rates, escapes, rework) and drive corrective actions

• Manage nonconforming material (NCRs), containment actions, and CAPA activities

• Partner with Engineering on root cause analysis and corrective/preventive solutions

• Escalate systemic quality issues to Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Hardware, and Software teams as needed

• Support audits (internal, supplier, and regulatory) and ensure audit readiness

• Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement

• Experience with inspection, testing, and defect tracking systems

• Comfortable using Jira, Net Suite, MES, Slack, and related tools

• Detail-oriented with a prevention-focused quality mindset

• Passion for continuous improvement and scalable quality systems

Compensation:

At Skydio, our compensation packages for regular, full-time employees include competitive base salaries, equity in the form of stock options, and comprehensive benefits packages. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. Relocation assistance may also be provided for eligible roles. The annual base salary range for this position is $94,000 - $134,000. Regular, full-time employees are eligible to enroll in the Company’s group health insurance plans.
