In this position you support the marketing manager to strategically plan and execute activities within the marketing mix with all our accounts and retail stores, support in all PR efforts, and manage the day-to-day social media platforms and general marketing executions.

Job Responsibilities

60% PR and Digital

• Supporting Marketing Manager with implementation of PR and media relations campaigns •
• Writing, proofing, and uploading press releases, creative blogs, and social media captions
• Helping organize and run all PR and marketing events
• Liaising with press contacts to generate coverage
• Creating, analyzing, and evaluating all PR coverage
• Coordination with Digital PR – mainly social media influencers
• Ensuring all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube) are managed and up to date with interesting and engaging content
• Helping to execute digital campaigns to drive to retail, and review and analyze performance of co-op and Skechers digital campaigns
• Support with media and influencer related tasks including shipping to press (press releases, seedings etc.)
• Monitoring industry news and competitor brands
• Constantly generating ideas to pitch to Marketing Manager

40% General Marketing

• Support of the Marketing Manager with all marketing efforts in the Philippines
• Coordination with accounts and suppliers for marketing activities and its execution
• Help manage and control of accounts advertising materials/ marketing collaterals
• Daily communication with various departments within Marketing at US HQ
• Internal communication with Sales, Merchandising, and Customer Service departments
• Preparation of presentations (mainly PowerPoint)
• Support in organizing and hosting events
• Seasonal showroom and retail visual updates both for Franchisee and Wholesalers
• Support daily business operations of the marketing department
• Preparation of the monthly marketing reports for the US HQ
