Internal Communications - Corporate Affairs

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy in alignment with senior leadership, ensuring company priorities and business objectives are clearly messaged across the organization.
• Manage and continuously optimize internal communication channels, including email, intranet, office TVs, and digital platforms, to guarantee timely and engaging content delivery.
• Lead content creation across multiple formats, owning the drafting of newsletters, leadership scripts, presentation decks, and company-wide announcements while maintaining Shopee's brand voice.
• Coordinate the planning, execution, and communication of employee engagement initiatives, town halls, and internal events to maximize workforce participation and awareness.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Engagement & Culture, and other core departments to gather critical insights, streamline messages, and maintain a highly cohesive corporate voice.
• Manage sensitive internal crisis communications by preparing swift, accurate messaging and aligning closely with key stakeholders to maintain clarity and stability.
• Track and analyze performance metrics of all internal communication channels, providing data-driven recommendations to continuously improve audience reach and message impact.

Requirements

• Hold a minimum Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a closely related field.
• Has 2 to 3 years of working experience in internal communications, corporate affairs, or a closely related corporate function.
• Demonstrates the ability to manage recurring operational communication processes, channel metrics, and digital collaboration platforms.
• Strong functional knowledge of corporate communications, newsletter layout planning, and internal audience segmenting.
• Outstanding writing and editing skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, with a proven portfolio of clear, engaging, and professional messages.
