Business Planning Analyst - Shopee International Platform (Operations)

The Shopee International Platform (SIP) Operations team is the analytical engine behind our cross-border e-commerce operations. We track key performance metrics, use data-driven models to solve complex operational challenges, and lead high-impact initiatives from start to finish. Collaborating closely with both local and regional teams, we focus on optimizing processes, reducing costs, and ensuring a seamless experience for our global users.

Responsibilities

• Independently monitor and track key operations performance metrics (e.g. cancellation rate, return & refund rate) to ensure day-to-day operations are carried out smoothly
• Analyse data sets and apply data-driven models to define, size and solve any operational challenges
• Own the entire lifecycle of operations initiatives. Take total accountability from initial project kickoff, definition of charter objectives, through execution, cross-functional orchestration, and final post-mortem delivery
• Collaborate extensively with both local and regional teams for day-to-day issues and launch new initiatives to reduce cost and optimise processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or science. A master’s degree is advantageous but not required
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in e-commerce, retail buying, business analytics background
• Ability to interpret data and generate key analysis that guide key decisions and attain business objectives
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in SQL would be an advantage
• Result-oriented, team player and enjoy working in dynamic environment to drive growth
