Strategy & Transformation (Scommerce)

Responsibilities

• As the expert of outbound operations, you are responsible for designing end-to-end outbound processes that cover order picking, packing, sorting, and shipping. Your goal is to maximize order fulfillment speed and accuracy while minimizing costs such as packaging materials and shipping delays.​
• You will establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for outbound operations, including order picking efficiency, order fulfillment rate, shipping on-time rate, and error rate, and monitor these metrics through data analysis tools. By studying order patterns, you will optimize picking paths—for instance, adopting batch picking or zone picking methods—and design rational packing specifications to balance protection and cost.​
• You will act as the guide for warehouse outbound teams, formulating detailed operating guidelines and conducting skill training to ensure that every picker, packer, and shipper understands and implements the optimized processes. When facing peak order periods or unexpected situations (such as order changes or shipping disruptions), you will quickly adjust outbound strategies to maintain stable and efficient operations.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of experience in outbound operations, warehouse management, or supply chain roles, with a proven track record in process design and optimization; candidates with relevant internship experience in high-volume fulfillment centers are considered.​
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret order data, outbound metrics, and performance trends to inform process improvements.​
• Familiarity with picking strategies (batch picking, zone picking, wave picking) and packing optimization techniques, with a focus on balancing speed, accuracy, and cost.​
• Proficiency in using data analysis tools (e.g., Excel) and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track outbound metrics and manage order workflows.​
• Experience in developing operating guidelines and training materials, with the ability to effectively train frontline staff (pickers, packers, shippers) on process execution and quality standards.​
• Strong adaptability to thrive in dynamic environments, especially during peak order periods, with the ability to quickly reallocate resources and adjust processes.​
• Good coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including inventory management, logistics/carrier partners, and customer service (to address order-related issues).​
• Detail-oriented, with a focus on minimizing errors in picking, packing, and shipping to ensure customer satisfaction.​
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, picking scanners) and shipping tools (e.g., label printers, weight scales) is preferred.​
• Proficient in verbal and written English communication, with the ability to document procedures, train teams
