Seller Operations Executive - SG Marketplace (1 year Contract)

The Seller Operations team is the backbone of the Shopee marketplace, dedicated to optimizing the end-to-end seller journey. In this role, you will act as a strategic arbiter of platform health, ensuring a fair and high-performing environment for all users. You will balance the enforcement of critical governance policies with the creation of new initiatives designed to drive operational efficiency and seller growth.

Responsibilities

• Policy Governance & Appeals:

• Evaluate seller appeals by conducting reviews of evidence, exercising sound judgment to determine if penalties should be upheld or overturned.

• Operational Enforcement:

• Maintain platform integrity by monitoring seller behavior and implementing corrective actions/penalties in accordance with existing policies.

• Strategic Advocacy:

• Act as a subject matter expert in responding to customer service inquiries regarding seller operations and compliance.

• Process Improvement:

• Regularly audit existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to identify bottlenecks and lead the implementation of more efficient workflows.

• Policy Development:

Propose seller policies to improve overall buyer satisfaction.

• A proven self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Digital Proficiency:

• Foundational knowledge of Google Workspace (Google Docs for documentation and Google Sheets for data tracking/reporting).

• Critical Thinking:

• Ability to interpret complex policies and apply them consistently to real-world scenarios.

• Communication:

Strong written communication skills to convey policy decisions clearly and professionally to diverse stakeholders.
